Design an app that brings together people's bank accounts, gives financial insights and rewards users financially.

Process

The design of the Cake app started in the early conceptual stages, when figuring out what functionalities a possible third party banking app should be able to provide. Through many various iterations and brandings, the app started to take shape. First as an MVP, but with frequent small updates. The team was small, but effective, where I was working closely together with iOS and Android-devs, UX-designer.

Solution

Through anonymously analysing user's banking transactions, the app was able to bring a lot of added value on top of the standard bank services to our users. By giving users insights about their financial life and rewards for using the app. We managed to create a banking app that was much loved by it's audience.
